what an introvert is:
- someone who gets their energy from being alone and can get exhausted from being around people for extended periods of time
what an introvert isn’t:
- low self esteem
- hatred of people
- social awkwardness
Also isn’t:
- being shy
- social anxiety
I realized I was an introvert when I spent the day with my very extroverted friend and by 8 I didn’t have enough emotional energy left to make small talk.
